Greetings from Duluth, MN! Originally from Ann Arbor, MI, my artistic journey has taken me across different landscapes and mediums. I earned my BFA in printmaking and art history from Eastern Michigan University before delving into photography at Columbia College in Chicago, where I obtained my MFA.
I work in many mediums, including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, video, and animation. I've always been deeply inspired by my surroundings, meticulously observing and capturing the essence of different environments. While living in cities like New York and Chicago, my focus centered on the urban landscape—documenting my experiences in transit and exploring public spaces such as train stations, bus stops, and city streets. Now back in the Midwest, I find myself captivated by the natural elements, drawing inspiration from the interplay of light, color, and space in the expansive landscapes and open skies that surround me.
In tandem with my artistic pursuits, I've also worked as a designer for the past 15 years, specializing in graphic design, illustration, art direction, and UX/UI design. Equipped with a diverse skill set, I’m proficient in a range of digital tools and software, including Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, FinalCutPro, Procreate, Procreate Dreams, CSS, HTML, and MidJourney.
